Accommodation All participants must make their own hotel/student housing bookings and pay directly to the venue concerned. The following hotels are within walking distance of the conference venue and are of 3½ to 4 star standard. The facilities have been inspected by the Committee and are recommended. Sydney has an extensive range of accommodation but it can be expensive. Very cheap accommodation is likely to be of poor quality. To obtain the group booking discount please book before 30th April 2007 and quote “IAML” in your communications. All quotes are in Australian dollars. There are numerous “last minute” offers on the internet so it is possible that you may get a cheaper price closer to the conference however you may miss out on your first choice of accommodation. Pensione Hotel Sydney Standard rooms from $99.00 per night. Breakfast box $7.00. Pensione is about a 25 minute walk from the Conference venue or 15 minutes on a bus. Each room has an ensuite. This hotel is close to Chinatown with its great selection of restaurants. It is also central for transport, shopping, museums and theatres. Buses at door in George St, nearest station Central.
